Principal’s Message

Welcome families and visitors to Echo Lake Elementary School! 

I am honored to continue to serve as Principal to the dedicated Echo Lake Elementary community.  Our mission at Echo Lake is to be an innovative leader in educational excellence and engage all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens.  I am proud to begin my fifth year as the principal of a school with a strong commitment to excellence. 

Our theme this year is “Watch Us Grow, as we Learn, Lead, and Shine Together!”  We build our schoolwide focus and expectations through our HOUSE system built on E=Encouragement, C=Character, H=Honor, O=Opportunity.  Through encouragement, we build confidence. Through character, we develop responsible and caring citizens. Through honor, we foster respect, integrity, and pride in ourselves and others. Through opportunity, we empower students to discover their talents, reach their goals, and make a positive impact on the world around them.  We do this through building relationships with each student, listening, illuminating the what, why, and how of student learning, connecting what we do to the larger world around us, encouraging their passions, and emphasizing effective communication skills.  

I am proud to collaborate with the excellent staff at Echo Lake as we work in partnership with you to empower our children to become confident, compassionate, and engaged citizens of a global community.  We believe that a strong home-school connection is critical in promoting student growth and achievement in school. We encourage all families to join our PTA and be involved in activities throughout the year. By working together, we will ensure your child’s success during these critical first years of their learning journey.  I look forward to another fabulous year at Echo Lake!
